Allow Me to Introduce Myself

Meet Shannon + The Story Behind Shenanigans

Hey, party people! I’m Shannon — owner, balloon artist, creative director, delivery driver, problem solver, and chief shenanigan-maker behind Shenanigans Balloon & Party Studio.

I’m a wife, mom of four, and woman veteran with a lifelong love for making celebrations feel special. Growing up, my mom and dad went all in on birthdays and holidays — gift baskets, matching outfits, candy, little surprises, and all those tiny details that somehow made a day feel magical. That love of celebrating stuck with me.

Years later, with four wildly different kids of my own, I found myself doing exactly the same thing. I wanted their celebrations to feel like them — not something pulled straight from a big-box store. That meant lots of crafting, late-night internet searches, Pinterest rabbit holes, vinyl cutting, painting, and eventually… a whole lot of balloons.

And that’s how Peck’s Party Emporium was born.

What started as a little party boutique and custom balloon shop grew into something I never could have imagined. Over the years, the balloons got bigger, the installations became more creative, and our little business became part of some pretty incredible celebrations throughout Savannah and the Lowcountry.

Eventually, we realized we had outgrown more than just our space — we had outgrown our name.

Peck’s Party Emporium will always be an important part of our story, but it no longer fully described who we had become. As we transitioned away from a traditional retail storefront and into a studio centered around custom balloons, creative installations, and a smaller collection of really great party goods, it felt like the perfect time to give this next chapter a name that felt a little more like us.

Enter Shenanigans.

Because after years of doing this, I’ve learned that the best celebrations aren't always perfectly serious or perfectly planned. They're colorful, personal, a little unexpected, occasionally chaotic, and filled with the people you love.

In other words... Shenanigans.

The name may be new, but the heart behind it isn't. I still obsess over the details. I still get ridiculously excited about a great color palette. I still love getting to know the families and businesses we create for. And I still consider it an incredible privilege that you invite us into some of life's biggest moments.

From baby showers and first birthdays to graduations, engagements, grand openings, milestone celebrations, and everything in between, we hope to keep celebrating right alongside you.

New name. Same heart. More Shenanigans.

Woman-veteran owned. Family operated. Celebration obsessed. 🎈
